The worst I can say is that it's 'just' more of The Witcher 3 to play, but rarely has that word more deserved its air-quotes. Taking place after the main campaign, though not at all related to it, Hearts of Stone is a ten hour tale of ambition, of regret, of manipulation, cruelty and sorrow that gets to push aside fears of the incoming apocalypse in favour of focusing deep on the series' love of finding compassion in the most cynical of situations.

So you can also take that into consideration. Yet in her house in Witcher 3 you can find rose and it is withered. Just couldn't go for Triss even tho I played past games.Īnd also as far as I remember, in Witcher 2 it is stated that legends say that rose of remembrance won't wilt if legends are true. So basically in two of my playtroughs i chose Yen. But that doesn't change the fact that she loves you in her own way.
She is just too cute in those quests while there are moments when Yen is kind of portrayed as heartless. I also understand why many people choose her in Witcher 3. But still she manipulated you even tho she knowed about you and Yen. She could have helped him recover much faster but she didn't because she was probably jealous.
